new member with 70 RR

Hay just joined, kool site. I should have found this years ago. I have a 70 RR survivor ive owned for 24 years. 43k miles and been sitting for the last ten years. i need my a$$ kicked but life gets in the way sometimes. So i need you guys to give me some motivation, and while im at it i do accept donations:grin: No really. Im thinking that ill start a build thread with pics and call it garage find. lets face it after ten years in my garage it took me sometime to find it. So with a little encuragment, alot of $$$ and some luck ill get this one back on the road. Looking forward to the site and my project.

383 4spd, 8 3/4, 3.55 surgrip, ps, drum brakes, am fm, ralley guages without the tac, bench seat, black & silver interior, Vitamin C orange, coupe with 43K on the clock. And moparstuart i think we knew each other in a past life. Old HPAC and Dodge Shelby Owners Member way back in late 80s early 90s I had a blue 85 GLH Turbo A/C delet .

i know hardens really well and my salvage yard I own is in odessa , by I-70 speedway . Did i know you at the blue springs sonic cruise ? did you have a grand national regal also ?? I still own my shelby 87 glhs charger , my 69 runner and 2 70 runners and 2 69 chargers
My 70 4sp runner looks alot like your car and mine is vit c also but mine has had buckets and air grabber,& dana added .
And of course i have my 70 SB convertible clone l

That would be me. Moved to Lexington about ten years ago, and the Road Runners been sittin right where i put it ten years ago. I bought a project morgage, 115 year old house that needed everything so a ten year restoration is going to need about ten more years. but im not getting any younger and i feel my second childhood coming on strong. That and my 16 yearold son is building a 70 swinger with my help and his money. And i got the bug. So lookin forward to some talks on the mopar sickness. Admiting you have a problem is the first step the next step is on the gas.

gee that was like 20 years ago dam i have know idea how we remembered each other

well hope to see you and the 70 some time , your car is a post just like mine also my car was my brothers and it only has 36 k on the clock parked since 80 with the 383 long gone blown up and missing . 440 or hemi may go in there some year .

next friday evening we have an HPAC cruise at the sonic right by indep center , if you can break away .if weather is good i'll drive the birdible to the cruise. Or stop by my salvage yard and say hi anytime .

Next friday is no good, im in the navy reserves and im going to fort lenord wood. Every time HPAC has a cruise i have duty. I drill out of Belton and use to go to the Belton cruise nite, but not after i got home from Iraq two years ago, i miss that one too. Changed the weakend from the end of the month to the first. I think i can catch the Indep. cruise most months after this one. just Sat and Sun most weakends.

HPAC have three cruises now 2nd friday is indep
3rd saturday is overland park
4th friday is liberty

belton cruise is alway the 4th saturday and we usually get a group of about 15 HPAC people to park together . They get about 500 cars or more so you have to go early to get a parking spot
