hello everyone,
I just recently purchased a 69 roadrunner I from Grafton wi. New to the site looking to gain more mopar knowledge. I could use a lead in the right direction I purchased a air grabber air cleaner for my 383 but it don't fit under the hood with my performer rpm intake? Can I use the 440 base which I was told is shorter then the 383? Sorry to bring up something that has probably been explained a few times, hoping to find the information here thanks.

Thanks guys, I will post some pics later. I was just at a show and another gentleman had the same performer rpm intake a high rise with the air grabber air cleaner and box on hood. But sadly I couldn't find him to ask . I just thought the dual four barrel intake or the 6 pack maybe also was a high rise intake? I was totally going to order a factory intake and new Holley carb till I saw this other one at the show.

Not sure what that guy had going on but with an air grabber everything was engineered to fit perfectly, when you change something, it throws everything off. You can modify virtually anything but if you change something, a stock setup just won't work
