Hello everyone.

My name is Bernhard and I stay at the Black Forest Germany. Three years ago I bought my first US-car, a Chevy Impala Sport 2-door from 1971. Now crazy about American V8 cars I was looking for a MOPAR. End of July this year I bought a burnt orange Dodge Charger RT from 1970. The Charger needs some work till I can enjoy the car unlimited. Hope that one or another here can help me if I have questions or in search of parts.

But I hope I can drive in a week or two. :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin:

Cheers

Guten tag !!!

Gotta love the Black Forest area. I spent 6 yrs in West Germany with the US Army in the late 70's and early 80's. Best times of my life. Welcome to the forum pal! Everyone here will be glad to help you any time.

Hi Hemi Rebel!

Unfortunately the number does not match. Unfortunately because I have no build sheet for the car. Luckily I have the fender tag. XS29UOG1339..

Hallo Kumpel!

The Canadian Airforce stood at Lahr Airbase, that is 10 miles away from me. Directely in my town a French tank company was based and 80 miles away there is Heidelberg, this is the next US Army barrack to me. Only the US Army barrack still exists :icon_winkle:.

In the 70's and 80's the Canadian drove a lot of GM cars here. There was a big big GM dealer in Lahr. He sold a lot of Corvettes, Pontiacs and Camaros. No MOPARS :sad3:

Cheers

Bernhard
