Thanks @PLMHEMI
For what it's worth, I have Mity Mounts on my 440 6bbl now, and I had a lot of strengthening and traction stuff added about 18 months ago, along with a dual disc clutch and HitMaster launch control. The Assassin traction bars and Calvert split mono leaf springs, and Viking triple adjustable rear shocks all are ready to play, but I haven't had time.
I am "sold" on the Mity Mount design, and they have a strong warranty, BUT I also believe the Schumacher mounts are a good design, and there's a company making them again, albeit for more than you are asking.
If nothing else, I will have these mounts as backup if the Mity Mounts break. The 572 aluminum RB 6bbl should put out around 700 ft lbs torque, and I'm having it gapped for up to a 350HP shot of nitrous.
What I really want is one of these, which I believe are also planned to be or are being made by the same company that is making the other stuff Schumacher made:
SCHTQBE is the part # Mancini used, and it's the "torque strap" kit that works with 70 B-Body and other years B&E body cars.
