I have always been a Mopar fan, and I finally found the car that I hope to keep and enjoy the rest of my life. I ran across this 1965 Plymouth Belvedere 2 convertible sitting in a shop for the last 3 years and made a deal. It has been redone but I believe that the interior and some of the rest of the car could use a update. It was a 383 automatic car and now it's a 440 automatic which is nice. Previous owners did do a 4 wheel disc brake swap, 3.73 locker 8 3/4 rear axle. Mainly the only things I want to do is Vintage AC and do a fuel injection system. Plus someone did a butching job on the under dash wiring harness and for some reason took out the heater core box and did away with it so I have to find a heater core box and heater core and the misc items needed.
I love this car! The body work has been done but I am on the fence about the interior I believe it came with black interior and I'm thinking about going back to the original black interior

Welcome from CT. Nice car really sharp. Don't use anything with ammonia on that rear window! To dry mine I roll a roll of paper towels on it, less wiping the better.

Welcome from Alabama, nice 65, I like the interior except for the dash. Should be easy enough to change. Keep us updated.

Nice. And welcome. I'm usually not the biggest convertible fan. But your car is stunning. With that visual stance? A convertible just may be a must!

Congratulations on your new(er) family member.

Thanks everyone. I know that the rear springs were relocated to the inside, it had 28x12.50x15s on the rear but they were way to big so I went with a set of 295 50 15 that don't rub and still fill the wheelwell and yes the stance to me is just about spot on, plus it drives great

Welcome from New Zealand.

Great ride you have there. Cool looking engine, and I dig the matching colour scheme for the interior. ✅

Nice looking car, good luck with the extra stuff

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

I'm thinking some of the mods were done to drag race the car.....? Anyways, welcome to the site and nice looking car!!!

Welcome from the left coast. Since your heater box is MIA, putting the VA unit in will give you a new setup for under the dash.

I have been told that removal of the heater box and some of the other mods might have been done to make her a drag car, but I would have thought you would want a hardtop and not a ragtop for body strength, but I could be wrong
