I'm an upstanding member in FABO....lol. Although our 'Cuda resto is far from done, my dad and i are looking into the future and wanting to build a max wedge clone for our next project. If this this forum is anything like FABO than I have no doubt I will find nothing but good advice and a lot of help. I am looking for opinions on what is the best car to build a clone out of. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance

I don't know.....are A body pics welcome on the B body forum. I don't want to corrupt the sanctity of the B body forum.....lol.

'Cuda ****...not for the faint of heart

A few years back my dad and I decided it was time for us to get a project car. Seeing how I grew up sitting on the fenders of his red '69 Cuda handing him wrenches (that's actually how I learned fractions...lol) we decided that'd be the best way to go.

This is what she looked like when we got her (I can't for the life of me find a picture of her unmolested, this pic is from another FABO member that looked at her when she was for sale...lol)

We got her road worthy, rebuilt the engine and drove her for a couple years buying parts and trying to decide when to start restoring her. I ended all debate when I wrecked her (don't ask)

Here she is as of a couple of weeks ago

And here she is as of yesterday

We have just about everything we need except fenders. I got some rusty ones that may be able to be repaired, just not by us.

Welcome to FBBO! Is that a legit 440 A Body Cuda? If yes, that pic of the wreck makes me cringe.
