Just joined the board and have had this car (1974 Roadrunner) a few months now. Still bone stock. Hate to get started on mods because I have a addiction problem with them. It's as stock as anything I've ever owned not right off the showrrom floor. I admit I didn't buy it out of love but for the price vs. rarity (big block from factory)but am growing to like it. I was looking at first for a Coronet but got sidetracked on E-Bay. Sooo, here I am. It's a boat I know. But after having Camaros and Mustangs before this thing is soooo smooth. I do have a set of Magnums to put on as soon as I buy tires. Cripes, it's already starting. Now where's a cheap 451 kit? Since, my dad had 2 383 cars when I was a kid this WILL stay a "B" engine though no matter what I decide. I think I could get away with stroking it, keeping it original numbers and being satisfied w/ performance.

Welcome aboard, I think 440source.com has the best price on a 451 kit, however, I have not yet made the leap or delt with them myself.

A BOAT! Only compared to a Stang and the like. Hell, that's a normal size car for me.

Welcome to the site. Great looking car!

Thanks folks. After joining other forums (Camaros, Kawasaki) I know without the support of people like ya'll, I'd never be able to keep anything running. Even though this is my first Old School Mopar I had a 92 Dakota that I bought way back when that showed me the way of the "LA". That lil truck logged 300K miles as my main driver. It had a few bumps along the way but only left me broke down once. (and that was when it was fairly new). Somewhere along the way I was "one" with it. Drove it for 15 years and right out of it's second paint job. Hello again and thanks in advance. I know I'll need help on something.
