Hello, new to the forum and new to Mopar as well, though not new to cars. Always been a GM guy and restored my Firebird (had it since high school) about 19 years ago, but, as the saying goes, even guys with dream cars have dream cars, and my other dream car has been an orange 1969 Charger. That dream recently came true, though the car, although in excellent condition in most respects, it does need a few things. I am not yet well versed on the intricacies of Mopar, but I am learning. I have posted several questions on the Charger Forum and the people have been very patient. I figured that until I am better versed in the Mopar universe, I would spread my neophyte questions out a bit so as not to wear out my welcome in any one place. After my intro I'll be posting a question about brakes in the appropriate section. Thanks.

Welcome. Love to see that Charger

Welcome to the forum from CT! Great bunch of guys here and a TON of info!

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal

good luck with the 69 Charger project

Welcome from Mid-MI. Like others stated, we love car ****, post up some pics.

Well, you get into Mopars with one of the best cars of all time ! Don't hesitate at all for any info, glad to welcome you.

Another Yankee with a orange 69 Charger.
That's funny, in a way.
Well, you might as well go whole (Boss) hog if you are gonna jump into MOPARs.
Pardon the pun.

If people don't like you asking questions, you are in the wrong place.

1. No one knows everything despite what they think. Some things can't be known for sure, in MOPARs especially.
Never say never may not be just a cliche.

2. People like showing off how much they know. So ask away. (See number one)

3. I have found in life that people get a kick out of helping others, generally speaking.

Sometimes at work, the best we can do is pool our collective ignorance.

Welcome from Pa!
Whatever "problem" you can come up with, the collective minds have fixed it 100's of times already. You're in the right place.
I'll start, your answer to the brake question:
Yes you need them.....
:welcome:and never take some of us too seriously
