Hello everyone, I just picked up my first piece of Mopar muscle... Purchased a 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus. Plan on fully restoring it over the next couple years. I used to be big into european tuner cars, have build several performance VW's and Audis, but decided for the next project I wanted to do American muscle... My favorites were always late 70's to early 60's Mopars, SO, thats what I got! Spent a couple months looking at cars until I found "the one." I'm into a new adventure now, never worked on any classic cars, so I am sure I will be around with many questions! Great forum, been lurking a couple weeks now, lots of good info here... Hope to learn a lot!

Welcome, glad you came to the Mopar side.
Let's see some pics of that Satty.

Great, Sonny loves the look of the '73 s...if they "sit" right and are dressed proper...
Welcome!
BTW; matt, mark or luke? john?:icon_question:...:icon_winkle:...:hello2:

My work computer wont upload any pictures, so I cannot send any at this moment, but they will come soon!

I lucked out, its in pretty great shape for being 40 years old. It is 100% complete, missing nothing... no major issues, only a few minor things to work out before its safe for the streets... Theres no power to the dash at all, the transmission doesnt shift from 2nd to 3rd, and it needs new brakes and suspension all around real bad... Other than that though, it just needs some TLC and it will be a fantastic car.

The 71-72's are my personal favorite just because of the great looking front clip, that loop-around bumper is sexy. But 2nd choice would be 73-74, and I found my second choice, so i'm happy :) Its Mopar orange with the original paint and white vinyl top, I plan on re-doing it the same... Re-spray of the original paint and replace the vinyl top. That orange and white together look great. Then I might to super stock rear springs and not sure about the front yet... Wanna lift that rear end an inch or so, and leave the front the same height... Maybe a TINY bit lower. We'll see though!

As for the name... None of the above! Haha, I got the nickname "the apostle" years ago because I have several religious tattoos... and I kinda just let it stick

Welcome Washington, We all like ours to "sit" right. I like mine about a foot higher in the front than the rear. This is of course with the tires off the ground about 4 inches... DanO
