New to mopars

New to the forum and new to mopars. Bought my first extremely rough mopar project car. 1970 super bee. I've always been a GTO guy so this resto will be entirely different than what I'm used to. Looking forward to looking thru the site for more info.

I have run Buick and Cadillac olds... mopar is not that different... and a 70 is a good year for parts.... the mopar electrical is junk and that's a big part of it... don't expect anything to fit like its supposed to or advertised to is the other half... get a manual for $20 and use the forum for links... welcome and enjoy..

Welcome to here and yeah, get a pic thread started! I've heard a lot of people complain about the electricals in Mopars but most seemed to always be working on cars that someone had already cobbled up. Yeah, there's some weak points like the bulkhead connector and the alternator amp gauge but in the 40+ years I've been messing with these cars, I've never had a problem with a stock and unmolested system. I did have one fusible link blow out because of the alternator wire chafing on the valve cover (30 year old car) but once I found what was wrong, the car was up and running again within a couple of hours. Got lucky on that one imo lol
