Hi - I just picked up a 69 RR two weeks ago. I'm loving the car and trying to research on it. I was able to contact the original owner today and it was an awesome experience for both of us! My car has original paint (Bahama Yellow), originally Colorado car. I have orig window sticker but build sheet was mixed up with another Convertible RR a few years back. I'd like to try and get the one I have to rightful owner and likewise for mine.
I plan to have this car forever and I look forward to being a member.

Welcome to the site and a great looking car in fantastic shape. You don't see many standard Road Runners in that color. I think it became available as a mid year option along with the A12's.

That is really interesting to know- the original owner told me same thing. I'll have to do some research on that and thanks for the comment

Thanks for welcome guys. The original paint polished up nice, but it does have a side swipe in front drivers side fender and a couple of dents, chips and the front and factory undercoating has a lot of little rock chips because it came from rural Colorado and didn't see a lot of asphalt lol. But it is really cool. The original owner told me the side swipe happened in 1988. Again, thanks for the welcome
