Hello, I am from Central New York and I am the third owner of a RR1 Burgandy Mettalic 68 Charger R/T with 440 auto, black vinal top and white stripe. It was bought new from a dealer in New Jersey. Made it's way to the second owner in NY in 1991. The second owner drove it a total of 15 miles and put it away in his garage. I bought it in 2008 and parked it my garage. LOL.

Time to get it out and start a restoration. I am not really concerned with value but I have never seen another RR1 burgandy mettalic charger. Is that a rare color option?

Welcome to the site - lets see some pictures of that project.

Welcome to you are your 68 Charger .. agree with the Elk .. post some pics!

These are old photos of when I picked the car up in 2008. It was painted a orange/red color in the late 80's. Going back to original color.

Welcome! How far does the word 'Restoration' resonate, and how far are you willing to go? If there's rust damages deep down inside the car are you capable, have the time and skills, and tools to tackle it? If so...then Bravo, have fun, and post some pics!

Another Charger, Awesome and welcome aboard.

welcome to FBBO & good luck on your 68 Charger Rustoration

LOL, That is why I bought the car. I have 3 other orange Mopars including an 06 Daytona Charger with just over 10,000 miles on it. I was going to paint it the same Go Man Go but after I decoded the fender tag I found out it was Burgundy. The color has grown on me.
