Hello everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself and tell everyone a little about my build. I love mopars and was born and raised in Huntington beach california right across the street from adams ave donuts which has a car show every saturday at 6am, that got me the bug early on. I have a 69 charger, painted it black and blacked out everything with a big orange strip but it didnt come out as I wanted to its back to the drawing board. I love pro-touring, I would eventually like to have a 5.7 hemi and 4 wheel discs in my car but it has a 400, factory front discs and an 4 speed overdrive for now. Plans for this year are a full hotchkis set up, it has 18X9 up front and 19X12 in back with 345/35/r19 meats. here are some pix, I am going to repaint it myself in my auto body class this year (hopefully) I need alot of help since I dont know much about engine repair but I plan on taking classes at my local community college. hopefully I got this photo thing going

Welcome to the site 69er! Sharp ride, really nailed the wheel/tire size well. I'm in the middle of a similar build with my '69 :icon_thumleft: next time I'm down your way it'd be cool to check out the car

If you have any questions on anything this is definitely the place to be, tons of knowledgeable people and don't hesitate to shoot me a message if you hit any roadblocks

Head on over to the "members projects and restorations" section and start a buildthread for us to follow, looking forward to seeing some progress!

love the 69 Charger, welcome from NorCal

I like the car (and I don't normally like too much mod), but your air dam is crooked.

Yeah, there is a little too much crooked going on so she is up for a full re-paint this year by me so I can fix everything since the last body shop didnt seem to live up to ANY of its promises. Cars can be such a shady business at times, its really unfortunate.

Yep, doing it yourself is the best way to know it's been done right.

I'm re-patching a quarter patch on my Charger today because some previous bodyshop before I bought the car thought a lopsided, random size, plasma-cut rectangle would be a correct marker light hole..
