I bought a new turn signal switch and installed it and ran into a few problems.
First it has two harness clips with the extra clip having three extra wires on it. Second, the connection clip was slightly bigger than factory one, but I was able to force it in. The clip has the same amount of wires as the old clip. And lastly, the turn signal or flashers do not work at all. It has something to do with these three extra wires and I do not know where to attatch them.

The extra connector is for cruise control and has no effect if not used. It sound like a fuse could be blown or loose. Check cavity #3 and #8 fuses. Both are 20 amp. Also the signal and hazard flashers could be bad. Did they all work prior to replacing the harness? Might also check the bulkhead connector as it may be loose. Tighten up the 2 screws if the fuse box is loose.

The signal flasher is located next to the ash tray under the dash and the hazzard flasher is mounted on the brake pedal bracket.

yes, indeed a fuse. It's amazing how stupid you become when you working hungry..starving for food

Dont feel so bad.... I'm an electrician and it costs you $75 to get me to your front door. Guy said his porch light wasn't working. Came over and asked him if he changed the bulb. "OF COURSE!!" he said, shaking his head and wondering if I was the idiot. "Are you sure you replaced it with a good one?", I said. It was fun to watch his face just drop! It was an expensive lesson, so I didn't charge him for the bulb!!
