Hey everybody. some of you may have sen me floating around the E body and A body forums, so I figured we'd call it even and I'll jump on here too. I'm a college guy majoring in Automotive engineering in NY obsessed with mopars... and I drive a Chevy... Ironic, yes, but I didn't have any say in the matter lol.
I got hooked on Mopars practically since birth. Dad has a '74 'cuda (hence joining the E-body forum first, now this one) he's had since he was my age, and it's managed to stay with us so far, despite tough economic times. it's not registered, or completely put back together since he got it painted almost 20 years ago... it makes outings around the neighborhood to keep everything in working order, but it still needs some work before it's road-ready.
I, personally, have taken a huge liking to the B bodies after some research. The dream car will always be a '70 Challenger, but I'm fine working with B bodies or A bodies until then. I'm saving some money to try and get a project car this summer, and I see the market for the '71-'74 Roadrunner/Charger/ Satellite is looking pretty close to my "driver quality" range. Hopefully I can nail a deal on one of those soon! Dad found a 360 block he said I could have, so once I get a car, I'll build a motor for it (assuming I get the cash).
So, I'm here to learn all about the B-Bodies and hopefully get one at some point! Looking forward to seeing you guys and girls on the forum ;)
