Hi guys
My name is Stein and I live in Norway. As for today I don't own any B-body MoPar, but hope to change that soon.....
Earlier I was scammed when "buying" one 1968 Charger so I'm much more carefull now. No, it wasn't anyone from either of the MoPar forums on net.
I have bought cars from the US before, but the issue with the Charger was a blow in the face, I lost $11.000,- :angryfire:
The reason for this thread is that I have found one interesting 1970 Super Bee for sale in Brentwood, NY. Supposed to be ground up restored with matching numbers 383/727 for $15.000,-. It has been for sale for over one month so he might be willing to discuss the price. It's atleast relisted once on Craigslist.
I'm a "little" to far away to check it out myself and I don't like the thought of might be scammed again. This seller might be the nicest man on earth, but you never know. I have tryed to send him a couple of emails, but it seem like he thinks that I'm either a "tire kicker" or a scammer. Only reply was: "Still for sale".
Is there anyone here at this forum who might be able to help me check out the car? Shoot some pics and give me their opinion about the car?
VIN and fender tag info would also be great.
Here's the ad: http://longisland.craigslist.org/cto/2527663304.html
If this turns out the be a good deal I'm prepared to fly to NY and do the final arrangements with the seller myself.
Thank you very much in advance
