Hi,
I just purchased a 67 Dodge charger. It was a 318 3 on the column car. The previous owner put a 440 4 speed into it. It is a solis car. Needs a full interior restoration and some help with the trim. I have been around b bodies for along time as my dad restored a 67 gtx and my brother did a 67 rt.

I just got the interior all pulled out of it. i am replacing carpet tomorrow. I bought some dynamat to put under the carpet,I am told this will help road noise alot. I have to paint the hard plastic from copper to black. Any suggestions on what type of prep and paint to use? thanks Patrick

Pat....Sharp car! As far as the Plastic, I've had real good luck with the SEM line of interior dyes/paint. I'm sure a lot others here will vouch for the SEM line as well. Prepare the surface properly, use the prep then final spray and the finish will hold up for years to come.

Thanks that is what I was thinking about using. From what I am reading you use the SEM soap first, than SEM plastic prep, than SEM bonding agent, followed by paint. Does that seem right?
