Hi all,
I've had a few Mopars over the years and my latest purchase made me hunt you down. I just picked up a 1962 Dart 225 six automatic.
A magazine called Grassroots Motorsports holds an event every year, buiild a car to compete in 1/4 mile drags, Autocross and Concours, you can't spend more than $2010 (including buying the car) show all receipts. I'm hoping to bring the Dart.
This is what I built in $2004.
It's a Monte Carlo frame with a 400hp mid-engine V8 and a VW Bus body plunked over the top.

This is a 1952 Dodge B3C-116 that I drove for years as a flat head, 6v, 4.78 geared one ton; until some old man blew a light and T-Boned me. I bought the body from the insurance company and put it on a 1981 3/4 ton frame. It has a 360, 727, Dana 60, 12v and HEAT!
My wife won't get near a track (with me driving) but thought off-roading my do it for her. I built this Samurai and joined a local 4X4 club.... she went once.
This is where my screen name comes from, a Porsche 914, my second one. I bought this from a friend that retired and had to downsize so I got it for $3500. Never slept outside, only been rained on five times that he remembers and it has 57,000 miles on it. Very happy.
