Howdy, ya'll. My current ride is a 64 Sport Fury, 470 lowdeck stroker w/ Eddy heads, aluminum main caps, Diamond flat tops on Eagle rods,11.25 comp., Scott Brown .570" solid cam, Eddy STR-15 crossram W/ Carter 600 cfm AFB's, water jackets half filled. Manual 727 w/ PTC 3500 convertor, 9.25 rear axle. Subframes tied & mini-tubbed. Everything but machine work done in our home garage. Last burnout left the tattle tale @ 7400 rpm. Love the stroker! :jerk:

Welcome from Minnesota....sweet 64. :headbang: Madness if you get a chance can you post some pics of the mini tubs and what size are your rear tires? Thanks Al

Reply to the mini-tubbs on my 64 SF

I had saved my patterns from the 63 aluminum car, so I duplicated the spring perchs & moved them into the rear frame rail, widened the tubs 3", & narrowed the rear seat accordingly. Tires were originally 33" X 13" Thompsons. A little too tall, had to use air shocks, which rode awful. Now have smaller Hoosier streets. Much better ride.L Tub.jpg
