Well with the help of my son Im learning the site and got some pics posted. If I commit any crimes please let me know....

The Plymouth, "Natalie" as she is known in our household, now has chrome magnums and fresh rubber. We have disassembled and restored the rear trunk panel and those rare backup light lenses. Working now on restoring a tough to find original gas cap, repainting the interior upper door and rear panels, and package tray. Also doing whiskers and various other weatherstripping.

Havent installed them yet but the Top Cat weatherstripping pieces really look good and Dixie's Restoration Parts is amazing to deal with. I don't know what others have been doing but repainting the red striping on the trunk chrome panel is really worth all the masking work. I have seen a lot of them where guys just buff off the faded paint and leave it chrome but the original color is the way to go IMHO. Found a great match in Duplicolor too and its a Chrysler color ironically.

Very nice!! Is that the same car you have pictured with the scoop? Is the rubber trim on the front bumper of that car original? It looks very well done if it isn't.

Thanks, the color was a major factor in the purchase for me too, fits the car. Has had one repaint but color is original, "Daffodil Yellow"

Daffodil Yellow really shows the body lines well.

Never met Mike McGuire, what city is he from in NoVa? Yes, I did have several muscle cars used as daily drivers. I bought a rust free 70 Challenger in excellent shape for $400 and thought I was ripped off. I sure miss those days. I used to travel to Md. for parts and just to look in junk yards.

hi and welcome to the site nice looking 66 Sat.:headbang:

Hi Nick!
Truly a gorgeous car!
That color is outstanding!

Welcome aboard and thanks for joining the forum.

beautiful Plymouth! Mom and Dad bought one new.

Thanks everyone for the compliments and warm welcome! Greg I cant recall the size on the redlines but if you are interested I will check, they are sitting in the garage because we just replaced them about 2 months ago. Im actually going to sell them and the wheels that are on the car in the pics. Might as well list them on this site right? They are Mickey Thompsons and I loved the look but we drive the car a lot and they were driving me insane on our tar and chip roads here.

welcome to FBBO Nick

nice 66 Satty
