hello glad to meet everyone, and merry Christmas. I have a 70 hemi challenger and a lot of hemi stuff but I don't know a lot about the hemi having received a lot of the mopar stuff I have thru my father. look forward to the forum and have a lot of questions. please bear with me as I am kinda dumb with the hemi stuff.

Good to meet ya. I'd love to see some pictures of that awesome hemi goodness.

hemi-hunter, you have the one of the holy grails of Mopar/Chrysler Corp. if it's a 426ci Hemi 1970 Challenger R/T & welcome to FBBO... But if you don't already know, the 1970 Challenger is an E-Body, not a B-body, but we are all pretty well versed in allot of A, B, C & E-body cars, even trucks too, most all Mopars here, there is also a link to www.ForEbodiesOnly.com Challenger & Barracuda/Cuda specific forum, on the top of the page on a tab our other sites, we are knowledgeable & friendly around here, someone can/will help 99% of the time...

It's only my personal opinion but what you have is the next best thing to hitting the lottery. Welcome, and enjoy.

a few pics of my challenger and my friends hemi charger

some pics of me bulding the 426 that went in the challenger. its a 512 w/ BME rods, Venolia pistons, and mopar solid cam 612 lift. the heads are the old 1970 duel plug "Mullens" ported mopar K replacement heads. these are the same heads sox and martian used on their early prostock and super stock cars. the block is cast 68 street hemi and the crank is kieth black billet purchased from stone woods and cook many years ago. the intake is original 64 super stock dodge hemi with twin 660's . by the way, would my friends hemi charger be a B-body?

WOW!!! That's a nice chunk of change you have in hemi stuff there. So what's the story behind all your stuff? Is your dad an old drag racer? What, when and where did he run? What about the Lil Red? Please tell us more. And welcome to the forum.
Wayne

Welcome...nice collection. :)

I'm pretty sure he meant the lil red express truck in the first picture.

yea the lel red also belongs to my buddy he bought it new back in the 80's I think I know its not for sale.

I got enough hemi stuff to build another motor complete from pan to carbs if I use my other 69 block. I know how to build the hemi motors what I don't know is all the B-E-A-C body stuff and production numbers being a Ford man and not even touching the mopar stuff for years up until recently this year.
