I did. Rebuild the baseplate, installed new coil, rebuilt points, rebuilt the mechanism due to damaged parts, recalibrated, tested all my components, and wala good as new. Oh and yes it works. The next time someone says I can't do something. Well. Ok. See more of this. Pm me for my website

I bought a book on watch repair from 1897 while I was between jobs in 2000 and did a little less to get the toc in my tic tach working. There's nothing wrong with the original stuff if the coil is good. The temp seems to vary it a bit though, I notice between winter and the peak of summer.

My first car....a 66 Belvedere II had a clock and there were times when I would use the back seat and with the radio off, I'd here this pop every now and then. Always wondered what it was until I took a clock apart from a 70 Challenger many years later lol
