Here`s a NOS 440 six pack breather, I bought about 30 years ago along with a nos filter in the original boxes. I have never used the breather but did use the filter to drive into a higher end car show about ten years ago, total running time was about 1/2 hour. Before I drove away from the show I returned this filter to it`s original box, and put the repopped one back on. (The new K&N filter is not included, it`s just holding the base & lid apart, during storage) I have more pics, pm me. $750 US + shipping

I`ve been told this filter is not an original, ?? I can`t find a part number on it. I bought 3 of these back in the late eighties for my V code Charger & all 3 were exactly the same & in the same boxes. I sold 2 years ago. You`re buying just what you see. Ask questions ?? You can always make an offer on what you figure this setup is worth to you.

Here`s a picture of the mesh seam on the outside of the filter?? , the Mopar part no. label?? ,and the end of the box for the cross reference no. ?? I bought the filters between 85-89? & the breather mid 1990?

Fram replacement. I have a NIB box one, in a brown cardboard Fram box.

What I had said on Sunday Fred when you showed it to me. The diamond mesh is not OE, the round hole ones are (unless they'd already changed for the '70 model year). I was in the same boat, had a used one from the 70's and a new one from '88. Same part number, wrong screen profile for my '69.

The diamond mesh is incorrect.......Zero question....

Ok, So we don`t need to beat the dead horse anymore, Anyone want to buy these parts ?, make a reasonable offer in a conversation.

NOT THAT I BELIEVE THIS SITE.... LMFAO!!!!

Give me a link so I can buy a 1000 of them...

None of this is helping Fred sell his wares! .. other than bumping his advert for him!

Ok, this is the story. Sometime in the 70's Fram, who manufactured the filters, changed the design to a diamond mesh. When you bought a filter from your Mopar dealer, the diamond mesh type was in the Mopar box, the same filter you bought as Fram from your parts store. Now, my recollection is a little fuzzy on this, but I think the Fram boxed filter was Orange, and the Mopar boxed filter was black.
