I am looking into a set of NOS small block 1973 ignition wires they are in the original mopar parts box, the only thing is the lettering on the cable is 7mm electronic suppression hypolex? is this a true Chrysler replacement set of wire from the parts counter for 1973 they have orange plug side boots and black at the dist.
Check them out at Hilltop auto nos parts on line

thanks guys

Um, well, unless you are doing a concours restoration of a special 73 car, I don't think I would spend $125 for those wires. You can get much better set of after market wires for much less cost. Even firecore wires are less then those around $90, and Mopar performance still less about $60.

yes my goal is to replace my under hood past store parts and mopar performance parts with nos or original dealer shelve parts, I did notice that the voltage regulators out there are almost exact except my original had yellow printing, I only see white lettering.. I found an NOS carb and NOS choke, they are spot on and perfect, work great. I have not had an original carb since 1982.

I did have a set of Mopar Performance wires, the set has lengths that are too short and I had to scrounge for other sets to make one complete set to fit my 318.

So I would be ok to purchase the NOS set of wires they are an original Mopar part correct?

thanks for all your expertise!

Mike
