Most of them do,because as you can see in the pictures,American Sunroof Corporation didn't put any paint on where the cut the opening,or on the sunroof door. They just glued the vynal top over it and called it done! I have three sunroof assemblies two of them look like this car in the ad,the third one was cut off the car and stored in a dry place since 1976,it has no rust!even the sun roof has holes![]()

I did a Duck Duck search on ‘70 sunroof Chargers and this Pinterest pic came up. It reminded me of your current build.
