Toyoda, the person, was never really fond of ev's. Hybrid's were his strategy.

Toyota is a good company, and the vast majority of their vehicles are great. Sure, they have had a few lemons....but probably not as many as GM and Ford who are supposedly world leaders and beaters.

I choose Toyota over other 4-bangers like Honda or Nissan any day. And I wouldn't even slow down to look at a Subaru.
