Wow. Beautiful sunny autumn day here. Cold at night but the short days are not too bad. But we always have snow that stays by Halloween.

Thanks to the Colorado Low we got a slight bit of snow last night and some more supposed to come tonight. Motorcycles should be out on Sunday.

When I was in Co. Springs in 2000 I think we got that kind of snow in the first couple of weeks in Oct as well.
IIRC, a lot of the slopes were able to open earlier than they had in 20 years or so.
