I was looking under the Coronet the other day and see that the dang oil pan gskt is leaking. I've got a windage tray and was wondering what you guys are using. I like the rubber with steel core Felpro but two of them aren"t too cheap.

What do you think? winter time to do list.

Yeah I like the steel core ones too. Think of it this way. You can reuse them over and over.

I've always used the cork ones that came with the kit and had no issues. The trick is to flatten out the oil pan holes and don't over tighten them. Hard to do because it's very squishy with two gaskets but just watch the gasket as you tighten the pan.

On my 440 I used the cork with the right stuff goo and after putting the last pan bolt in I saw the second gasket laying on the shelf. DOH!! Seems I got sidetracked and forgot to put it over the bead of goo but no issues. So you don't even need gaskets if you have a consistent bead of sealer.
