I looks somewhat solid, not sure about those #'s he claims either, needs full rustoration, a bunch of the hardest parts to find aren't even there, glass is junk, most the stuff around the windows, is bad, but the main body doesn't look all too bad, I've seen far worse, but $12k seems high, for what's left, IMO your buying a Vin # basically... But I'm not in the market either, many others I'd rather have & I've had a few of the 62-63 413ci S/S MW engines too, parts are getting extremely rare & very expensive, for what they are, some people think rusty old parts & cars, is worth it's weight gold today... Seems like you can spend a total of $80k+ in restoration costs {especially if a body shop does most the work} & all the really hard to find factory parts shipping & time finding all the missing parts, you'll have a nice car worth probably $75k car... I hope I didn't offend you, just being brutally honest... Good luck

I see your from Aussie land & it may be worth much more there, than here...

It seems high to me too but it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. X2 on the hard to find parts.

My son saw this car when it first came on craigslist for 3500.00 he emailed the guy when he saw holes in the dash for the choke cables. He asked for a picture of the fender tag and talked to the guy who had no idea what the car was. He then called my son and told him he couldn't find the fender tag. My son said he had no interest in the car without the tag but told him he thought it was a Max wedge car and to email Darrel Davis the vin and Darrel verified it was and the next day its 12 grand. Cool car but 3500.00 was the right price.

Didn't those 28 cars have the radio delete package?

btw, it ain't worth no $12 large as it sits!

Yeah I thought it was high...Its not that common to still see these turn up ...
At his price it'll be here a while.

Yeah Budnicks prices here are high so maybe it would sell here.Just to much stuff to find ;)

Thanks everyone.

x3 on finding parts if you wanted to bring it back to original as possible ! but as polara426 stated 3500.00 would of been a great buy but now the owner thinks its worth a mint since someone informed him of what he had! hope this guy sits on it for years trying to gouge someone like this! why not just be happy to make a little money off it and sell it to someone that will bring it back to life !

Maybe Richard Rawlings will buy it and we'll see it on Fast & Loud.

Not saying the car wouldn't have had a 413 cross ram but you think it would have been a post car if it was ordered for racing. Also I didn't know there was such a thing as a "light weight" in '62?

Way overpriced. Like Bud said, are you going to buy the car for 12K and put another 70 or 80K into a restoration to end up with a car worth maybe 75K ? Even if you got the car for free it may not be worth what it cost to restore when it's finished. All that so you can say "it's an original Max Wedge car". If I wanted a Max I'd rather find a much nicer one to begin with and pay the price, or find a much nicer regular Savoy or Belvedere for the 12 grand and clone it. But that's just me. 99.999% of the people that see the car aren't going to care that it's an original Max car, especially since it's not all original.

would be nice to see additional photos of this car ,if it isn't to bad on the interior and other areas ,:eusa_think: make it drivable and leave it that way:icon_scratch:

Yea ILMFAO, probably put a LS or X engine & a Crown Vic front suspension in it too...he he ha ha, it's in Dallas area, he may have looked already & passed... he'd leave the outside like it is, just clear it, then not put a headliner in it either, have Kung Fu Sue do the seat... sorry I'm on a roll...
