Full Resto, but in the meantime get it drivable as a daily, while I save some greenbacksWelcome from Mid-Michigan. Love the old Cutlass/442/Hursts. My brothers good friend has a really nice early 70's W-30.
Good luck with the RR. What are the plans?
I actually have no idea about that. I only owned 4 Oldsmobile cars.Isn't it crazy the 350 was essentially based on the 455 long block?

At 17-18, it was a Delta 88-4 door. Then the (wife’s) ‘71 Cutlass & ‘67 Dynamic 88/425 ultra high compression engine/quadrajet followed by 80-something- 5-6, I forget, 442-t-top. Good lookin car. Grey in and out with Gold pin striping. 305/4spd auto/3.73 geared. I kept breaking T tops and finally sold it because it drove me crazy.
IF I was to do another GM small block, I’d make it an Olds 350 to have fun with in something small/light, like an Omega. Or that ‘71 again!

Pretty funny. My first car was a 1966 Dynamic 88, 330 Ultra High Compression. Cost me $35 after it was rear ended and my buddy was going to junk it. Drove it for 6 months. I think it was running on 5 cylinders and the trunk was tied down with rope!!!! Didn't know much about cars then. It was a tank though.
As for freedom, you have to be more specific in terms of gun control, taxes, etc. I hate it here...born and raised, married with two healthy trouble-making kids. We would leave, but some of our family member's are ill. Until then we are stuck :/
