unfortunately the four-legged one isn't. Lost her to cancer a couple years ago.

Well squirrels and prairie dogs are both rodents......and the woman never did like me to take pictures of her. Always have been pretty good at taking pictures without people realizing it until it was too late but have not mastered that with the cell phone yet. She wasn't happy about the way she looked either so didn't want anybody to take pictures of her.

I like rodents. I've had a couple of pet rats many years ago. Despite their reputation, they are actually quite clean and fun pets.

We had pet rats too when the kids were a little bit younger and you're right, they were pretty cool. The downside to rats is their life span is kind of short. Our first prairie dog made it to 13. That's getting on up there but I have heard of people having them live even longer than that.
