Hey guys
I recently found the 2nd owner of my car thru Wes' lost muscle cars group.
His son sent me a bunch of old pictures of the car from between 1970-1973.
A older lady bought the car new and didn't like it got bad gas mileage and took it back to the dealership.
He bought the car with 50 miles on it and made it into a drag car.
I know you guys like pictures, enjoy.

Thats pretty cool

I would love to have that kind of history on my car

History and pictures like that are hard to buy...... make sure they stay with the car, and good luck with the restoration if that's the intention.

I think that's a pipe in his mouth...

the 'school teacher/professor" big black framed glasses
are a nice touch too

His son said he ran a best of 10.00 and was right on the national nhra record at that time for the class.

Injectors were a bit more serious than what I envisioned when you first said race car. I was thinking a set of headers and a hotter cam maybe. Ha!

Very cool having pics of the good ol' days.
Quick question, why was "the Grump Hump" scoop on backwards in a couple of photos?
Love the injectors, I actually have one of those (for a Hemi) as a 'conversation piece' because I could never afford the rest of the Hemi.

Such GREAT photos! Look forward to hopefully seeing more as they arrive. And how great would these images be in the "Pics from Back in the day" thread... [please? :praying: ]
