Outside mirrors for 2nd generation Chargers

Well, I learned something new today. I never heard of Sport Mirrors for the '70 Charger, let alone painted ones. That said, I prefer the basic non-Sport chrome ones. Mine only has the driver side remote mirror.

I agree. To me the sports mirrors look to swoopy and aerodynamic for such a stylish boxy body style.

I wandered over to the 1970 Charger Registry and reviewed what they had documented for the G36 Racing Mirrors (aka: Sport). Summarized as follows:

G36 Mirror-Outside L+R Chrome became available February 12, 1970 for any body color except: EB5, EF8, FJ5, EK2, EV2, FK5, FY1, FY4, and FC7.

G36 Mirror - Outside L+R Painted became available February 12, 1970 color keyed to only: EB5, EF8, FJ5, EK2, EV2, FK5, FY1, FY4, and FC7.
