Painted Steel Wheel Question

On the 1962 though 1965, was the body color painted wheels, painted color on both sides or just the outside?

pretty sure body color on the outside with small caps and black inside.

I'm sure they painted one side only, because they wanted to save money on the paint and labour.

From what I've seen,only on the outside.I had a few from 63's and 4's and the paint was only on the face.
