I've decided to try and sell my wagons. The 72 has been our family car/ daily driver for the past 5 years, the 71 was a future restoration project. An accident took our beloved 72 out, broke my heart, now I feel the need to move on.
The 72 is a baseline Coronet, a 120k+ mile survivor with mostly original paint, interior, ect. 318, auto, does have power steering and power disk brakes but not much else as far as options. It does have a set of vintage (USA made, steel cap) American Racing Torque Thrust rims, an aftermarket sound system and a better looking 71 grill, other then that pretty much as Dodge made it. It will still start but the accident took out the radiator so it's not drivable other then on and off the trailer. Clean title in my name.
The 71 is the top of the line Crestwood. Looked like the one in the brochure when it was new (Copper with the woodgrain). 383. auto, power steering, power disk brakes, factory air, third seat. Being a Crestwood it has the deluxe interior with the rally dash and high back split bench seats. I pulled it out of a friends wrecking yard where it had been sitting since 1984 a few years ago. I was told the motor was rebuilt right before it got parked, I did get it running, sounded pretty good and did move under it's own power. Solid desert car it's whole life but as such all soft trim is dry. It is complete. Good builder. No title, bill of sell only on the 71. My plan was to restore both and have his and her wagons but of course that has changed. I'd prefer to sell both as a pair, that way someone can use the best of both and build a nice wagon. I want $2000 for the pair, pretty firm on that and will not part out yet.
