Did u look at the pics there was no bottom left to the car...pretty sure they were rotted in half
 
Ok. I know they were made out of stainless steel but was worth a shot.
 
No they’re not if it’s stainless it’s super low grade I’ve seen a lot of rotted cables that car sat in the dirt since beer cans had pull tabs
