This seems like the place to be if you’re a Mopar fan.
I’m a new resident down in NC near Charlotte. I’ve been a car enthusiast all my life, at 15 I bought a 74 318 Gold Duster for my first car at a public auction for $700, been a Mopar Gearhead ever since. I now have 67 Belvedere II that was originally a slant six car. Turned it into a clone 440 car then I got bored. Knew it would never be an original so I went the custom route. Stroked 400 (499ci), 4.15 Eagle crank, 6.76 Eagle Rods, Custom JE pistons, Hughes roller Cam, Comp Cam roller lifters, Comp Cam SS roller rockers, Stage III Performer Edlebrock RPM heads from Hughes Engines. Street Demon Carb, TTI in/out coated headers. Cope racing 727, Gearvenders overdrive, Willwood 6 piston fronts, 4 piston rears, new 489 3.91 unit, and some other little goodies. Working on a custom dash now. Although it really needs a new paint job, but I dont like bodywork, wife would highly disagree with me spending any money at this time to.
Went to college then the military to pay for it. Worked as an automotive test engineer in Michigan for 8 years. GM, Siemens, & INA. Worked at the GM proving grounds for two years which was amazing, lots of good stories!! Worked for INA as a dyno engineer, the company that makes the deactivating lifters for the new Hemi’s.
Had to leave the auto industry for its going down the tubes in MI.
Two kids and wife, like NASCAR, LOVE Top fuel Drag racing.
Trying to enjoy each day as it comes!
