Hello, looking currently at a project car that's in California. It says it has a non-planned operational title? Would I have a problem transferring that to a Minnesota title? I've never heard of that style title before.

Also, do it all the trucker stuff going on, will a transport company go to California and bring a car to minnesota? Thank you

Hi
Non-Op means the car is on-file and dormant registration, all that means is IF you live in Kalifornia (as I do) you do not have to pay full registration fee, but car will NOT be subjected to penalties and back fees which are tremendously expensive.

No problem deferring Title.
Yes, find a Transport Broker
OR: If car is a Blue Chip Investment, get a Good Carrier

Great, thanks for the info! Didn't know if the truck drivers were affected in CA

Also, it is not a type of Title, Title is a simple Title
It just means IF you purchase and register in Kalifornia, you will not be subjected to the penalty fees
It is a simple "State DMV Title".
A 3 month delay in registering can be up to $700 dollar penalty fine here
So, we can "Non-Op" the car/truck/bike
Simply means it is Non Operational for a DMV sticker and Registration is technically suspended...

I've always had the best service with Reliable Auto Transport, the orange transporters.

Probably a project car if it’s not active. Pno is better than paying the fees with registration as high as it is already
