I found anti-freeze on my passenger side car mat. Does this mean that there is a problem with the heater core?

Heater core, or if it's a A/C car it could be the second valve or one of the hoses attached to that valve. IF it's an A/C car it could simply be the valve on the firewall.

But since you've given us little to go on it's pretty hard to diagnose the problem

I'm sorry i forgot to mention it was a non a/c car. I'm not sure what else you would need so if you need anything else just let me know. Thanks for the help

radiator shop. Year one might have them as well. I'd pull it, take it to the radiator shop and have it checked before doing anything else
