Posting pictures with my threads, thumbnail question

It seems that when I upload photos and want to attach them to a thread it only gives me a post ‘full image’ option. I think in the past it also used to give an option to post them as ‘thumbnails’. The user reading the thread could then click on the thumbnail to enlarge.

How can I post as thumbnails or have the option of either? It seems to me that when a user opens a thumbnail you can enlarge the photo to have a better view with out losing much or any resolution of athe photo. This is not the case when enlarging ‘full images’
