In High School in the early 60's there were were pickups in the parking lot with shotguns and rifles hanging on the gun racks, with the windows down, unlocked, etc. The guns didn't get stolen and no one got shot. All the guys carried pocket knives and although there were many fights during any school year, not a single knife was involved. Today the police would be called and to jail you would go.The farm boys had one hanging in the back window of their pick up back then.
I had a shotgun in my truck in high-school in 83 n 84. No one ever said anything about it. Different times, even from then. Kids walked to school with .22's over their shoulders in the 70's n 80's in El Paso that were on the shooting team.In High School in the early 60's there were were pickups in the parking lot with shotguns and rifles hanging on the gun racks, with the windows down, unlocked, etc. The guns didn't get stolen and no one got shot.
