I want to add a power brake booster to my 1970 Belvedere's drum brakes. I've seen 2 types: a thin one and one that is about 12" deep. Which one do I need? Brand? Can I use the existing firewall holes?

watching closely.
i'd like to do the same to the 'vert.
although the 440 in her takes up alot of room

I have a correct one that has been rebuilt by Booster Dewey. If you want to change from manual drum to power drum brakes I have a complete setup for you. Includes the Booster, firewall plate and under dash linkage.
I had it rebuilt for my 68 Charger but I upgraded to front disc brakes and this booster is for drum brakes. Does not provide enough boost for discs.
This unit will be a direct bolt in. Not sure your master cylinder will be correct though.
PM me if interested. I have $245.00 invested in the rebuild. Will sell the complete setup for $300.00 shipping included.

I have a standard drum/drum mc from autozone or similar I replaced last year. Can you send a pic? Definitely interested. Sonny

Performance on line has them for around 279 dollars for master and booster. I have this in my 63 dodge powerbooster with drum brakes.

Here are some pics I just took of what I have. These are the factory parts that were on my 68 Charger. I had to buy a dual ballast booster for my car because of the disc brake upgrade. It came with the linkage and firewall plate.
