I have a 66 Satellite that I would like to change over to power steering. I have two questions
- Is the factory steering column different length?
- Do they make specific exhaust headers for power steering?
Any help would be appreciated

Can't help with the headers but the column shaft is set at a different length, it extends out further on a manual than a power steering setup... You CAN apparently hammer it up into the column to get it to the right length but there is much debate over whether you SHOULD.

Otherwise a new column is in order... If you do a search on the forum, you'll get a bunch of info/opinions on this.

TTI Performance Exhaust list headers for your 66 for all engines that fit both manual and power steering (without any footnotes) so I think you should be okay.

Thanks for the info Guys
I am running TTI headers so hopefully that will not be an issue
I already got the steering gear and a Saginaw pump, now I just need to get all the related items brackets, pulleys, hoses etc.
Not sure what to do about the column yet, need more research.
I will let you know how it goes.
