PPG QP9355 reducer?

Just getting ready to apply this...the can says 1 part paint to 1 1/2 part lacquer thinner for the reducer. Do I really thin this down that much? Just seems like I'm over reducing it compared to other paints. Can anyone confirm? Obviously PPG knows their product...just looking for re-assurance. Thanks

Followed PPG's directions and it turned out ok...just in case anyone searches this topic in the future.
