Project "Esmerelda"

Posting up for my buddy, he's a little slow on the post's and a lot better at building Hot Rods than dealing with computers.

Well, Tim has been a BIG believer in superchargers for a while now, that is until he rode in my 2011 Silverado with a 6.0 and 76mm Turbo. since then he has been itching for a Turbo, and now he has finally come over to the DARKSIDE!!!

The Belvedere has been under the knife for about 2 months now. First off, new shoes all around, 17's in front 18's in back, not sure on the type but they are American Racing.

2nd, the Plymouth Stickers. Yes, we know they are not in the correct spot. He didn't like that big of a space in between the back of the car and the sticker so he moved it back further, his car & his choice. He's not building a stock restored Belvedere, he's building a 1 of a kind his version of the Road Runner. And yes the RR badge does NOT go on the door either, it will probably get moved.

Third and best of all, TWIN TURBO's!!!! He's been working hard at it night and day for some time and it is damn near finished. We cranked it up the other night for shits and giggles but ran out of gas after a minute or two of idling. Basically all he needs to finish up is getting the BOV's onto the intake tube and a few rubber boots and clamps.

-2- 76mm Turbo's
-Quickfuel 850 carb with boost Blowthrough.
-New MSD wires

He basically took an eBay kit, replaced the small Turbos with bigger ones and fabbed everything up in the garage. Aside from some aluminum pipe wielding this is 100% Done by him.

Here's some pics and a little startup vid, hope y'all enjoy. Hope to turn my Coronet into something equally as awesome!

Oh my O my. Absolutely gorgeous. Was thinking to do the same with a 1968 440 0.60 over on the bore, fuel injected and twin turbos too. But first finish my 1970 Roadrunner 383 H.P. numbers matching.

Cool, your not going to get any critisism from me make it the way you want. I'm curious to hear how the first outing goes "probably alot of smoke & tail sliding". Make it fast and make fun. I take it your in the service "thanks". Good luck keep us posted

Not in the service anymore sir. I served from 2000 - 2005, had to put in an extra year because of my extra year of C-school training, the marines put in that extra training and money but also wanted there extra year in the fleet from me.

i am a POTG! So 0311 may hate, but I love the CORPS!

as far as the startup, he ran out of gas, so that was that. We are waiting until the BOV's are in place so we can get it correct!
