when replacing rotors on 71-74 mopars. what is the correct way for recieving the proper end play. i know on some models you torque the spindle nut to 12 ft lbs while spinning wheel to seat the bearing back off until loose tighten it with hand until tight and then back off 1/4 to 1/2 turn. whats the correct procedure for a 71-74 mopar. 73 roadrunner preferably

There shouldn't be any end play on tapered roller bearings. You tighten them while spinning the rotor to squeeze the grease out of the way then back off until loose and re tighten with just a few inch pounds of preload.
