I ran across this video this morning. Comments to it say the deceased driver was a well known and respected member of the local car community. Some guy with more money than experience buying himself a vintage ride, and not appreciating the fact modern cars he’s used to have decades of handling, brake and safety innovations older cars don’t, doesn’t appear to be the case here with this tragedy.
I wear my seatbelts religiously, but my convertible I enjoy often in summer doesn’t even have shoulder belts. Brake lights aren’t nearly as bright as new cars and no 3rd brake light. So bigger risk of texting Tracy slamming into you.
Only so much one can do to try to stay safe!
