What is the overall quality of repro 69 Charger grilles these days? Do they fit well? What is the finish like? Is one brand better than another? I could probably piece together a decent, complete one out of the various parts and sections I have, but that would take time and money (as usual). Should I just opt for biting the bullet and going the repro route? What has been your experience with them?

Just for context, this is for a real RT, red on black, four speed car, but non original drivetrain and 50% AMD sheet metal.

I bought a 68 repro back in 2018, looked good, I would buy another one, it ended up being a little narrower than the original gaps on the side where it hit the inside of the fenders, they were larger than the originals by about a 1/4 to 3/8" on each side, only guy that noticed was an assembly guy that put them in 1968. That was at the Detroit Autorama in 2020 hard to see this is the only pic I have on the computer
