What are you doing for the front spring mount? Did you just go back to the stock mount or something else?

The Hotchkis piece moves everything back about an inch or so and now is too close to my fuel pump and filter setup.

edit: I should add that this is on a 64 Belvedere.

Update, I changed the bracket back to the one that was on there. (had super stock springs on it) I've now got the clearance I need although the rear end could come about another 1" forward to be centered in the wheel well.

From the mounting surface of the old bracket the center of the bolt hole is 6cm and the Hotchkis bracket is 8cm. The latter is set higher on the bracket for more lowering as well.

edit: fixed metric/imperial issue doh!

Can you post some pics, I'm having a hard time "seeing" it.

Here's a pic. Should have taken one when I made the switch.

the plymouth and dodge models have different length forward spring mounts , plymouth spring mounts are 1" shorter than the dodge mounts, thats why your axle moved back , hotchkis sent your the wrong mounts .

X2!! Ya beat me to it, lol!!

To be fair they do only list fitting 66 and up cars and they only supply the one style of bracket.

You need to measure from the center bolt to the front spring eye, should be 21".

Thanks for the link and your sig is very appropriate in this case.

I also just found out that they are working on a TVS kit for the 62-65's.
