Hey guys, I wanted more insight from others to see if any of you have ever seen this. No one has given me a straight answer yet. My 71 RR did not come from the factory with a radio. There is no antenna on the fender and the hole is welded shut, a mopar guru told me that it was indeed a factory option. On the rallye panel, there is no cutout for a radio either. I have never seen any other 71 RR with this option. Can anyone give me some insight. Attached is a pic of the panel. IMG_2840.jpg

So,
Your asking if this is normal?
Or,
Your asking if any other car came out with a Radio Delete?

YES,
Cars did come Radio delete

So YES, Id say your car did come radio delete

Do you have the "Broadcast" sheet?
Underneath thr rear bench seat.

The Broadcast sheet lists ALL options on your car

No, all I have is the fendertag which helped me a great deal. Also, I believe my car also had the rare tow option.

Radios were an option not standard.
Your car is 'standard', there's nothing 'delete' about it.
However...cars without radios are uncommon especially by 1971.
Lucky for you, no one has cut up the dash.

Radio delete=A/C delete=Power steering delete=power brakes delete=power windows delete

If you want to be incorrect and still have some fun with it, at least call it AM/FM/Cassette delete instead of just a boring old 'radio delete'. ;)
